Good choice for a first pistol. I suggest you pick up a .22 conversion kit. With it, you can work on the fundamentals, in addition to the DA/SA transition at the fraction of the cost of using centre fire ammo. Also, if you have smallish hands, you might want to pick up the factory stock grips. i found the rosewood grips, although very nice looking, way too thick. When shooting in the winter time with gloves, I literally could not get enough finger on the trigger to shoot it.
 
one more thing I forgot to add, you may want to buy some quality gun grease (I use TW25b on mine). Apparently the stainless sigs need more lube.

STT has been issued, so I should be bringing it home tonight, as long as the kids cooperate for the trip!
