My first Handpicked SKS

That is a beautiful example of a pristine unfired SKS! I had been contemplating buying that 1951 for a few weeks as my 1951 in the safe is not all matching. Good score!

So they ship everything except the sigths...

Depends on what you mean by a quality steel bayo? If your looking for a razor sharp Knife type bayo for the sks,I don't think you'll have any luck....They NEVER came that way. I personally would never recommend it....but....the bayo on a sks is fairly simple to make.If you know a machinist take a bayo to him tell him what you want....pay him his price and install. (you may not get this next bit as it's from a previous post) Then you can head out west and pin as many prairie dogs to the ground as you wish. I, however don't recommend any of this...but it can be done....rather SIMPLY!

OK, good to know. So where can one find a quality steel bayonet for the SKS? I checked Marstar, Fabsports, and Cabela's, but no dice. Anyone?
