Those are USPSA targets. Just use paper targets. You need to be accurate.

All you really need is blank paper, a Sharpie, and a staple gun.

Draw a few shapes on paper, and shoot inside those lines.

A Scout group is coming to my club this Wed, but the following Wed, May 20, come on by and I’ll give you some used IDPA targets so you can see the scoring zones. I’ll fix your sights too. 👍

Yes Solely does make excellent mag carriers also 👍
I personally use a 5.11 Operators belt. They are affordable, stiff enough to hold holsters and mags with no sagging or movement and stylish enough to wear every day.
I just replaced mine after about 9-10 years of hard use.
Joint Force Tactical in Chilliwack carries them as does DS Tactical in New West

The recommended Solely Canadian holsters and mag pouches would serve you well. (There are other reputable suppliers as well, as mentioned, like BladeTech and Safariland.)

For a belt, the most important things to consider are whether it meets the rules requirements, and its stiff enough to comfortably support the weight of your gear. I have been using a 5.11 Tactical leather belt with the internal plastic insert (for stiffness) for many years without complaint, and it is also a great casual belt for everyday use.

You should probably take note that your CZ Shadow 2 is too heavy for use in competition in the standard divisions.

Okay so I can only use the Sig P320 at certain ranges .
The Shadow 2 is too heavy .
I have a couple more options but they are all metal pistols .

Yeah, like any competitive sport there are all sorts of rules that apply.

Including divisions that set apart the handguns that can be used when in competition with each other.

The underlying idea is that it would be unfair, for example, for a person using an optic equipped 'race' gun to be in direct competition against another person using a six shot revolver.

So there are several divisions, each with their own rules about gun weight, size (dimensions), permitted modifications, etc, etc.

These include Stock Service Pistol (SSP) - which captures most off the shelf handguns, Enhanced Service Pistol (ESP) - for the stuff with more bells and whistles, Custom Defensive Pistol (CDP) - most of your .45 1911s land here, Compact Carry Pistol (CCP) - the little guns, Revolver (REV) - with sub categories, Back Up Gun (BUG) - more little guns, with sub categories, and Carry Optics (CO) - the optic equipped guns. (Descriptions are my own rough versions.)

Talk to Blake. I’m sure they can figure something out if all you really have is a gun that most ranges and orgs banned, and a gun designed by CZ for IPSC, not IDPA. If you start beating someone with a fragile ego, they might complain, and if so, maybe you can still shoot but for zero score? Blake is a good guy. He’ll be fair.

Edgy might have mentioned it somewhere, but Chilliwack runs Dynamic Pistol matches, framed around IDPA, and they may let you play with those guns.
