My first K-31!!

Hi guys, I just wanted to share my purchase of a K-31. I've been wanting one for years and finally took the plunge. I saw this one on one of weimajack's postings (thanks again Jacques!!) and had to have it. Since he is pretty close by, I was able to pick it up. The stock has real character and the figure in the walnut is great. The bore is pristine as well as all of the internals. And yup, found the name tag under the butt plate.

Needless to say I'm excited about this rifle and I can't say enough about the great dealing with weimajack.:)
 
Congrads! Hes a good guy to deal with, feed her grease and enjoy! Seems to be gp11 everywhere nowadays, get some! little tiger in that wood very nice.
 
That's friggin awesome to have got one with the name tag in there. Congrats bud and let us know how she shoots when you get her out to the range.

Check out Canadian Tire at Garden City, they were stocking them and GP11 ammo for a while. I haven't been in there for a bit to check stock but you might find a nice one and save the shipping!
 
The name tag is cool. With the help of a website, I deciphered that Fritz Niedermann was in the infantry 3rd company. The numbers, 15 and 160 still have yet to be figured out.
I'm going to load up some rounds as soon as I collect the components and wait until it warms up a bit to shoot it. Can't wait!

where in BC are you? in the Okanagan, (Vernon) Del Selins has some, I was there in January. price $295 + tax (+ship). He has the ammo too.. i handled the one on the rack and definitely a nice rifle.. oohh soo many rifles to buy , soo little cash

In the gvrd. That would be perfect too bad i wont be in vernon anytime soon.

What is the ammo worth?
 
Congrats on the K31. You will enjoy this rifle.

K31s are great. Shot mine for the first time at EESA. I was hitting the gongs at prob 80 or 90 yards from left to right and back using irons. My shooting buddy was impressed and he had a scoped .223
 
At my Swiss Rifle club, most shooters use the K31 and regularly shoot 10-15 cm or better groups at 300 meters with irons. Very accurate rifles for sure.
