Here it is, a browning bps 12 gauge. I looked over the wingmaster and the bps today at reliable gun and i liked how the bps fit and looked so that's what i bought.Being left-handed also played a role in this purchase. Looks like i'm a browning guy, i also own a browning buckmark .22 pistol.

Hi Leo,
i payed 595 for the BPS, i looked at the wingmaster but it was over 200.00 dollars more than the bps, although the WM price is a little high at Reliable compared to online prices, and i just liked the lefty friendly aspects of the bps better. I bought the shotgun at Reliable gun, its probably the best gun shop in the lower mainland of vancouver, so i like to buy from them to support the shop.
Wholesale sports has the BPS at 530.00, a little cheaper but then i would have to pay for shipping. Ellwood epps had it for 518.00 and SIR mailorder has it on for 569.00.

Thanks Andre,

Did I mention I am also a lefty :D
The local store - Le Baron here in Toronto selling BPS for 515 plus tax. I will get one tomorrow.

Good decision and it's a better finished firearm when compared to an 870 Wingmaster (some months ago I had an opportunity to very closely inspect/handle/compare/use the two as well as a Benelli Nova :D ).

I liked the tang safety and very smooth slide action on the Browning.

Apart from the somewhat more weight factor, the only little drawback, if one should call that as such, is that one would need to be a bit more cautious during BPS unloading process due to bottom load/eject design.

Browning - the man, the designs, the company - you have good taste.

A close friend often reminds me,"There's too many good makers and good guns - you can't own them all." (He'll recognise those words, no doubt.) Sage words, I've discovered. Sure glad I listened to him and focussed on some areas of particular interest to me.

I go for the Browning designs, no matter who he partnered with to have them built. I doubt you'll ever regret being a Browning guy.
