Through alot of help and knowledge from a coworker and CGN member (Silvertip13), I have started into the long range precision game.
This rifle started out as a Remington 700 sps varmint in .243.
- Sightron Siii 8x32x56 in LRMOA
- Timney 510 trigger
- Nightforce rings
- Weaver 20moa rail to get me shooting
We then free floated the factory cheapo stock and developed a load for it that it was happy with. I then purchased a Boyds varmint stock and last night we finished it. It has had aluminum pillars installed, bedded the action in Devcon, made the appropriate adjustments to have it fit correctly, and fit in a flush mount rail for my M-pod from Mystic Precision.
Im pretty darn proud of it, now to see how it shoots with the new stock!
