I just got home from shooting my IPSC Black Badge qualifier at Waterford. Congratulations to Ron M and all the others that made the day possible. I continue to be impressed with the quality of people that make up the shooting fraternity. As with all newer shooters, I make my share of mistakes. I am very grateful for the firm but gentle corrections I got from the officials and the advice of others. This sport teaches the kind of values that should be the envy of the general public. My thanks to all the folks that lead by example. Now I'm going to clean my gun and wind down from a very happy event.

glad you had fun and welcome to the fraternity!!

Meanwhile do not put that gun away just yet! You can shoot the EESA match tomorrow! Two level II matches in one weekend would be a great way to get into the sport.

Hercster,

come over to EESA, this is the match you don't want to miss,
have I mentioned 'Killers' burgers and fries? :)

Congrats dude, this was my first year. I got my first 1st place this year in production "D" @ the Gord Davidge memorial a few weeks back in Spruce grove Alberta. You will love this sport it's hillarious with many great people involved!!!!

Thanks for the tips regarding EESA. I didn't know where that was but checked and am happy that the club is not far from where one of my sons lives. I'll make a point of getting there next summer and be able to take one of my grandsons who wants to be an LEO. It will be a good opportunity to show him how disciplined and well trained Canadian shooters can be.
