My first new hunting rifle

Haha, okay okay I'll give you guys photos of the truck!! The community has spoken.

It started as an oil leak repair and now the truck is a different colour and I have an extra 500hp than I did originally. Way she goes...

Yes but it's comprised of six different engines and it's only naturally aspirated for the break-in. It's designed to be turbo. The engine builder estimates 650hp/800lb-ft.

I bought the same rifle back in the spring time. It likes federal blue box, although I'm not fond of them haha.
Who built the engine?

I only ask because, i have a 300 six that should be destined for better things than sitting in my shed. And my father inlaw is a engine builder over here and i could use some ideas to bounce off him...

Terry Kershaw of Kershaw Performance in Langley. I did the research and supplied the parts. He machined and assembled it.

Marvin Toews of Fraser Valley Engine & Machine in Abbotsford did some valvetrain assembly.

Mac Harris at MDA Fabrication in Richmond is doing all the coolant plumbing, exhaust, and charge piping as well as making my coolers.

Tell him you want to do burnouts. Problem solved. I don't have any F100 burnout photos but maybe a photo of the C10 will inspire him.

As long as your rifle doesn't have an ejection issue when a scope is mounted it's a nice rifle.
I was going to get one in 7 rem mag last week but it wouldn't eject a spent case....100% failure.
Ended up with a Kimber Montana in 280AI. ..very happy.

Nice rifle but beauty truck. Really makes me miss my 4x4 72 stepside. Took about 3 years to build it. Had her on the road 7 months and my sister borrowed on boxing day to give her then boyfriend a ride home because her little crap car was stuck and it was storming bad. She ended up sliding her off the road sideways and taking out a hydro pole. They were ok but my truck wasn't. Total write off. That was 16 years ago this boxing day, and still bugs the s*:t out of me Everytime I think about it. Lol.

Got plenty of grandpa's old school hunting rifles (no complaints - all great guns) but I wanted to buy one of my own that I could be proud of and keep forever
