My first of many videos...

How "complete" do you want the dis assembly? :)

I have a copy of the TAVOR armorers manual, and it details complete, and I mean COMPLETE breakdown, including every part in the trigger pack. Yikes!

If I did do that, the video would be a tad longer than 4.5 minutes I think. :)

Challenge accepted! I'll do my best to get it done sometime after I get back from SHOT and have it posted by mid February. I'm not going to lie.... the thought of it scares me a bit.

Break it down into multiple sections/parts videos. Like part 1 for general disassembly, part 2, how to break down the trigger assembly, part 3, how to break down the bolt assembly etc etc. If someone wants to see any one particular breakdown they can just play that single video of the series instead of searching through a 15min video. Just my 2 cents.

Excellent idea! That way I can hopefully keep each section down to 5 minutes or so.

Excellent. But no reason to keep the videos so short. My favorite videos are longer. Nothing better than making bacon and eggs while watching Hickock45 shoot for 45 minutes.

Regardless, I give you 10 out of 10.

Great job on the video. Far to often do you see videos with blurry out of focus close ups or accidental off camera work.

I have done that trigger job and found it to be 100% reliable since and that included some test with my tavor being packed with snow, action and all. Only only problem was the safety being stiff and it not going all the way into battery because there was still alot of snow in the magwell but thats an easy fix.

Thanks a lot, that will be great. Looking forward to your other videos !!

Boys I may or may not have a problem here.

I just bought my Tavor a couple weeks ago from our fine friends over at P&D in Aaaaadmontin, Ab - still wrapped in the baggie for added freshness!

Anyhow I took it apart to do the mod our esteemed colleague has provided us - and I don't seem to have that extra re-set spring...and I don't think I am having a brain fart here (although everyone would be right to suspect it). Could it be they are taking them off at the factory for civvie shooters? I wish I had a trigger pull guage...maybe I will sneak it down to Rotten Rod and slip him a few bucks to do a quick and dirty test of the pull. I got some mighty fine groups (comparatively speaking) out of it with some old reloads for the AR and maybe I already have the lightened trigger pull...?

Have any of you other guys bought recently and noticed this? I will ask the boys at P&D on Monday when they are back at work, this is most interesting.

Does your trigger pack have the roll pin that would have been holding the spring? I've seen (pictures and vids on the web) trigger packs that look exactly like mine, but no spring and NO roll pin, not even a hole where the roll pin should go.

I'm sure someone else will chime in here... but maybe you have an earlier import batch? I have no idea. TV-PressPass I'm sure could answer your question.

If the roll pin and roll pin hole are there, and you don't have a spring, someone removed the spring at some point....
