When my NXS shows up in 3 weeks, I'll have a nearly identical setup. It shoots great right now, can't wait for better glass.

Your gonna love it!

Please keep in mind, the man with the beard is sporting a high powered precision rifle, and he probably knows how to use it.

The grin will be even bigger if you go get some 168 Federal Match, some decent bags to shoot off, and the red targets with 1" lines on it. :D

I'd shoot it before spending money on upgrades that most likely aren't needed. These really are sub .5 moa rifles out of the box.

168 and 175 in the mail, got a harris today, the knob is i forget what brand, came on the rifle. and uh.. Armacoat by a member on here as far as i can tell, Marpat. factory stock. knob/bolt have been coated black. thats about all i plan to do to it. The mag kit im unsure about, it wont be this year anyway if done.

Man I love that gun :D, I spent lots of time looking at it when it was for sale. I then saw either that one or another at the Ancaster gun show, if I didn't have all the cash in this gun I might have tried to trade for it. I have also been looking into a CADPAT Duracoat kit for my stock, but I think I will leave it for now as it's growing on me.

Cheers,
Evan

Have put about 200 rounds through it so far with good results. I found that it doesn't like your run of the mill 180gr powershock very much. I definitely doesn't like 7.62Milsurp i have. Extraction issues. But with 168gr and 175gr federal match, it sings (IMO)
First time out my best group was 3 shots in 3/4inch at 100 The rest opened up mostly due to my inexperience and s**tty breathing techniques. Today i focused on grip/squeeze and breathing and got some really good shots in, by my standards. Shooting grids with 1" line spacing. Managed a couple 200y within 1/4" of dead bulls. But these 2 shots are what I am most proud of. 100y the card is 1.5" by 2.065" The 3rd shot on top is stray from another card shot.
