i was looking at the texas company website yesterday ?? These guys also ship to Canada or is there a Canadian company that are building these. i'd be interested too... at some point down the road

I ordered 2 50 beowolf mags lol ..we shall see

If anyone wants to see pics of some of what I did to this to get it fitting, I took a bunch as I went along

Tools I used were

Air die grinder with assorted steel burrs
Air cut off tool with a very smallish worn down cut off wheel
A drill with 3/16 bit
Flat file
and an angle air grinder with a 3m Roloc setup
Bench vice and 2 trim blocks
LED flashlight(My shop lights suck lol)

ok I am a little confused. Are you adapting pistol mags to fit in the sks to get a legal 10 rnd. capacity? If so how can a pistol mag feed 7.62 x 39. I am sure its not a pistol mag as no pistol would handle 7.62x39, so what gives? pls. enlighten me.

Mag was NOT modifyed in any way shape or form.
Rifle however got tweaked a bit ;-)

Please post some pics of what you had to do, I'm really interested in this mod. My flat black Molot would be a good candidate for this, it's a great shooter but I wouldn't feel bad doing a magwell conversion to it.

For those that aren't aware, there is a company that makes a magwell adaptors for AR15 mags in an sks. That is the whole purpose of this particular thread. The picture shows the I stalled magwell adaptor ...

Ya and the whole point of a Beowulf mag is to take 14-16 rounds of .223. 7.62x39 does not feed from a .50 Beowulf mag, trust me I have a ton of those mags, and also have this sks mod done. Welder 01 they made a xcr in pistol format that fires the same cartridge as the sks

Bummer...well then i guess when they get here and dont work.
I will just sell them on the ee.

I trimmed a little off the catch because I was almost out of room to raise the mag in the receiver(and it wouldn't quite catch) but seemed to feed ok.
