My first purchase from Canada Ammo

I was at first reluctant to order from Canada Ammo. There have been a lot a negative comments about speed of service and the length of time it takes to get things delivered.

That said I really wanted a Dominion Arms Outlaw. On Wednesday morning I decided to ignore the negative press and placed an order. By Wednesday evening I had confirmation the order was processed and shipped. It arrived Friday morning in Ontario. I can't get the kind of speed from Ontario based shops. So needless to say I was impressed and delighted.

I have unpacked my new shorty and after cleaning most of the grease off, I found a very nice little gun. I look forward to taking it to the range this weekend and seeing if the gun has the same "flaws" that others have reported. I guess I am lucky in that the two major issues of the front bead and the loose forestock have already been discussed and the fixes appear to be well within my skill set.

I would like to thank Mark and the staff at Canada Ammo. This was a great buying experience and I expect to do more business with them in the future. I guess timing is everything.

I will try to post my range results later in the weekend.
 
I would ignore the negative stuff that people have said about Canam. I have had great service from them. Mark even called me to confirm my order. It arrived in no time at all. The internet and CGN in particular can be a haven for #####ing about nothing.

Enjoy the outlaw. Mine is great. I had to do some filing as it was stiff at first but its pretty smooth now and fun to shoot.
 
There isn't much to take apart on the outlaw just the two side plates and a couple of screws and one pin to take out. Its pretty self explanatory to take them apart.
 
Canam treated me awesome for my first purchase from them as well. There was some confusion with CFC whether or not I could buy a restricted. Some time and several phone calls straightened it out.

I have always had superb service from Can Am.. Don't be too wuick to listen to gripes. For every gripe, there are probably 100 or more instances of good service and speedy transactions.
 
I've never purchased from them but I find it funny that a site called canadaammo only sells 4 types of ammunition...:kickInTheNuts:
