The SKS certainly provides a lot of bang for the buck...they were the best rifle value out there for quite awhile before the supply started to dry up .

Supply definitely hasn't dried up, but our dollar has definitely taken a nose dive, and the distributors importing these things like to say the supply is drying up every year or so, I have yet to see it.

Yeah you can find them but you have to be quick. I picked up a numbers matching Russian hardwood online for $229 and tax in November. Regularly see $400 asking prices on EE for Chinese ones.
