I have been eyeballing Sako for a while now (im a big tikka guy) and thought i would put together my affordable dream deer rifle. she weighs in at 9lb 7oz, not the lightest hunting rifle but not the heaviest either. the bolt shroud and stock bottom "metal" have been replaced with atlasworx aluminium parts and i installed a titanium bolt handle. the scope is a bushnell 3-12x44 LRTSi sitting in a set of vortex pro aluminum rings. I have owned many scopes and i keep going back to the Bushnell LRHS and LRTS they are great bang for the buck not to big and compete with any of the mid/high end euro optics i have owned over the years. the rifle seem to shoot well under an inch with federal premium 165gr BTSP and thats what i will be using to take a deer this year. hope you guys enjoy the pics
and good luck with hunting this year!
