Tried my hand at a euro mount. Pain in the azz but I think I did alright. I took a board off an old shed in the bush on the quarter I shot him on. I wanted to be able to take them off and hold them so I drilled a 1'' hole in the back and screwed a branch to fit. I was thinking they should be whiter but I already gave them the peroxide twice. I heard to paint it in a water and white glue mixture. Any advise on my last step for clear coat? Got one more to go see how that one turns out.
I simmered it in some dish soap and water, then cleaned as much meat as I could off. Then I did it agian, simmerd it for a few hours. I took the pressure washer to it in the brain hole I drilled. Finnished the cleaning of the nose and hard to get places with some wire, needle nose pliers and a long drill bit. Got some hair dresser peroxide and mixed it up and painted it on. I then wrapped in saran wrap for the night. Next day I rinsed it and scrubed it more with a brush. Gave it one more coat of peroxide and and scrub, there you go. I still have to coat it with something.
