Hello!
I just today picked up my first shotgun to be able to do some skeet shooting.
Upon taking home and assembling I noticed the barrel is slanted off from the rest of the firearm frame.
Is this something to be concerned about or to exchange/warranty?

First maybe try take the barrel off and put it back. Maybe it wasn't put back properly? If that fails and the barrel is still slanted then contact wherever you bought it from.
If you got it at one of the local retailers, take it back and get it exchanged it. Don't fire it. When I bought my 870 locally and found a chip on the wood stock, the retailer happily let me exchange it.

Thanks for the advice!
I was able to zip back before the store closed and exchange it for another one I am much happier with. The store staff were immensely helpful about it.
(I selected a new one from 3 others they had. The one I picked has a bit darker wood appearance and far less -if any- barrel difference.)
I was surprised to see similar issues of slight offset barrel with 2 of the other ones in the store as well though.
(I guess that's why the price between this one and the more expensive ones; which I also checked out and not a single one of those had any issue)

The barrel need not be aligned with the stock, only the receiver. What I see in this photo is a stock with a right handed cast.
