My first SKS

I changed springs(hammer, sear) and got FTFs due to a lighter strike that wouldnt set off the rounds, at least thats what I figured. (PS the pull was a lot nicer!.) Its very easy to swap out the springs, but you have to put your shoulder into it when you put it back together (ps tape the disconnector down to keep it out of the way). The sear, mag release spring is what I kept and went back to OEM for the hammer, and that was the end of the failures.
 
My first rifle was an sks... got my pal in september. Love it and the ammo is cheap. although from what my LYMANS manual says your doing good if you get 3-4 moa from your ammo. so far put like 500 rounds through it and cant tell if its accurate cause im new to shooting! fun as hell though except for the cleaning wich is a ##### cause of the corrossive ammo. super lame. But fun still only paid 240 for all numbers matching!~
 
Just got my first sks this weekend along with a crate of ammo! Have yet to shoot it, want to dissassemble and give it a good cleaning first. What got me hooked was shooting my buddies, what sealed the deal was finding this site.

What ammo u use ?
First time I heard about problems with those wolf springs... This S&@K !!!
Did you tried to cantact the seller ?
