Hey Guys I just did my first ten reloads, with a Lee 4 Hole Value Turret press, boy this thing works like a charm, it's to bad I had to mount it in such a weird way *old news paper wood box* for now, but it sure works. For all of you who are worried about starting to reload or if your scared... just get whatever kit you'd like and start, it is very easy, if you take your time and follow the instructions, you shouldn't have any problems at all:cool:! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Here's the pictures!! Sorry about the picture quality, they were taken with an old cell phone, I will have to borrow my fiance's camera if I ever do this again!

Here is my first load on the left using again Lee 4 Hole Turret press, Lee .308 PaceSetter Die's, 165gr Hornady SST Tips, loaded with 42Grains of Varget power, old Remington Brass, Right Federal Premium 180gr vital shock :)

Congrats on your first reloads. Do yourself a favor and rip the top board off that magazine rack and clamp the board with your press attached to a table so the thing doesn't want to flip over every time you pull the handle.
 
Haha special hot rounds, i was thinking of cutting the top back a bit so that it won't flip, it really isn't much of an issue, I put my hand on it and giver but I wish I had it mounted to a bench I may wing nut it onto a work horse bench
 
Yeah Denis at shooters den is awesome I got most of my stuff there, as for the weight ball it does look like its in the 50 in the picture scary, but it was on the 40 I was loading a full scoop of 2.8cc then I would trickle a few more and it would balance at 42
 
I loaded my first "press" rounds on a workmate. I mounted the press to a piece of countertop (I used to get lots from kitchen-sink cut-outs) and screwed the countertop to a piece of 2x4. Then I clamped the 2x4 into the workmate.
Later, while single, I simple clamped the countertop to the kitchen table and loaded away. Then a woman came along and I built a bench in the basement, all the while thinking what I eventually wanted in MY "perfect bench".

Now I have a dedicated room and a GREAT bench. Not perfect yet, but it is still in progress.
 
Haha yeah I will celebrate after I shoot them, I'd build a work bench but it's not my house, when me and the girl buy a house, I will build a massive workbench, and there will be no more red neck new paper box mount, but for now it works great
