my first time to the range with my M&P 40

Over the years I have found that one of the places people have issues with when groups are scattered, is their sight picture.

When you have picked a point of aim on the target (as stated earlier, there are better targets to start out with), place the tip of the front sight on that point and centre it in the rear sight so that the tops of the two sights are level. Now the part people forget. Just as you are going to release the shot, focus your eye on te FRONT sight. You should be able to pick up the details of the front sight. Its okay for the target to be a bit blurry, its suppose to be. Our eye cannot focus at different distances at the same time and the foresight is the critical point.

Good luck.

I f you are shooting low I would say it is that you are anticipating the round. If you can find a dummy round put it randomly in your mag, when you get to that round you will see how much you cause the gun to dive when you pull the trig. You can also do dry fire practice for a good smooth pull. Pretty good shooting for first time out.

ok so it was successful in that i didn't have any malfunctions. :)

however had this been a real zombie attack i would be zombie food ala no headshot.

Nice shooting, looks like you had fun.

A tip for next time, don't kill the pizza, I wanted a slice.
