My Friday evening trip to Lebaron in Ottawa

I have placed dozens of orders with SFRC and can't remember ever having any kind of trouble getting them filled.
If it wasn't for SFRC I wouldn't have the ammo I have now. It's not like I can walk into the local hardware store and ask for a 1k of 40 S&W. When you live in the armpit of NL, you have to order from the mainland. I have bashed dealers on Gunnutz before and all it's gotten me is grief from other members and a pissed-off store owner.
You want to complain about service from a business, complain to THEM.

Are you from Pleasentville ? (St John's) Right down by Quidi Vidi Lake. Lol

Just as the sports manager said at ctc, they are now flush with new stock .22 federal 525 packs and some other stuff including that cci blaser. Wallyworld has new stock, mostly winchester, lots of 555 bricks $21.27 the federal was just under $26. they usually understock things in feb/mar to take stock and put in new orders! I still believe most of the places that are short is because the Americans are coming up and smuggling it back!

this is why you keep several 1000's of rounds in each caliber and dont dip into those unless there is nothing on the shelves

Been a while but from what i hear that guy is still in business. @ 5 years ago his 147 gr 9mm was Amazing. Shot as good as match at half the price. We usually got 1 guy to volunteer to do a pick up once every month or 3 and called ahead to make sure he had stock. 9mm, 38 special in wadcutter target loads, sometimes round nose, 40 S&W. His 45 was meh. His 223 was pretty good on the rare occasion he had any in stock. As a small club we burned 5-7 k of his ammo a year and I can't once remember ever seeing or hearing of a problem.

Given a choice between his stuff and American Eagle, UMC, Winchester white box, it's just no question. Centaur wins every day.

Can only think of 2 other things to help you, http://www.crafm.com/ is a sponsoring dealer at the top of the page. Might save you the additional 20-40 min of driving all the way to Laval, or Armurier Du Lac 450-763-2536. He's in Coteau du Lac which is even closer to Ottawa I think. Both of them should be able to score an order on a small group purchase.

This week end it is the member minus 20% discount ( no ammo ), today i sent # of 12 items i want being bought, since i am overseas my youngest son ( he is the only one except me with a member card ) will pick up those item for me, i will have many boxes to open when i get back... JP.

I've been buying the 9mm Blazer Brass @ That Hunting & Fishing Store in Richmond. About $14 a box. Picked up about 500 rnds this week. Their bricks of Federal 525 22lr are pretty decent too. $22

i was in ct in kirkland quebec yesterday and picked up the last 2 boxes of 223 fed
and the last brick of blaser 22 they had
Then went to baron in point claire and bought the last 2 boxes of target load 7.5
slim pickins

Lebaron usually has 9mm and so far the cheapest in Ottawa I have found, they have been out lately but still get shipments. I tend to always call before I go, as for SAIL i have had my PAL for about 2 years and been there 20+ times and so far they have never had any 9mm when I have been there. Sittsville shooting range usually has 9mm for 13-15bux for 50 if you are hard up.

Picked up 1k rounds of 9mm in Le Barons Ottawa yesterday, realized what I did and the price(its on sale) and returned this morning for another 3 cases.
