Yeah that's pretty igorant. Nice maturity level. I am going to try pmc ammo as that what my friend was shooting in his norinco. i'll probably get the recoil spring as well. This might sound stupid but i want to build this gun to make it a speed gun..for me atleast. I think a threaded barrel and compensator would be great..along with a lighter slide. Also thanks to those who have been helpfull.

So you are having problems with both your Glock and your GSG(in another thread)? Maybe its not the guns after all..Kidding.. Re the Glock, that ammo u are using is pretty crappy stuff. Try some
reputable stuff and see the difference. Also those KCI mags may save u a few bucks but they do not perform like an OEM mag. U get what u pay for and they may function most of the time but I wont rely on them or use them for anything other than casual plinking.

^^^^^^ This pretty much captures it.. all Glock parts and decent ammo should be good to go..

Relax about the post with the glock bash. We norinco guys get it all the time from everyone. He's just having some fun. X3 on the limp wrist theory

Being fairly new to shooting and reading this post I am curious about one thing. In a lot of the other sports I do proper well maintained gear helps but there are always those who just destroy anything in their way with ####ty old gear. What is an appropriate gun/shooter ratio as far as performance goes? I'm not trolling or trying to aggravate OP, genuinely curious as to approximately how much the gun makes the shooter.

Gun is a tool only, Good tools help but operator dictates…

Ok can everyone get off the f'n limp wrist BS. It has nothing to do with light primer strikes. The pistol is striker fired... When the trigger is pulled the firing pin is released and it moved forward. You can hold it with a pair of chop sticks for god sake and the firing pin will move forward at the same speed as if you mounted it in a vice. The limp wristijg thing only comes into effect for the cycling of the pistol once it goes bang. If there is insufficient support for the pistol to effectively cycle then you have issues. The light primer strikes is either ammo related or your firing pin spring needs replacing or your possibly your firing pin channel is gummed up.

If your pistol is feeding fine then it's not a mag issue. Your mags feeds your gun, has nothing to do with it going bang.

Do not put any lubricant in the firing pin channel ... I repeat do not ever put any lube in the firing pin channel. Should be as dry as a bone.

Lose the KCI mags, and firm up your wrist... Limp wristing will cause light primer strikes and FTF with a Glock because you are absorbing too much recoil with the rearward motion. This is from my experience, anyhow.

Care to explain how limp wresting can cause light primer strikes? Maybe failure to extract/eject, but not light strikes.

Yeah there is no way i limp wrist. I shoot a 500 smith so i know how to hold on. I'm thinking its the firing pin channel. But i will switch ammunition as well

Just saw the other post regarding FTF and FTE
Start with your mags, I've never used KCI mags but I've heard mixed reviews. Swap out to factory glock mags.
Run your ammo through it. If your still having problems swap out to factory brass cases ammo. I've used everything from Winchester white box to frangible and all runs perfectly in my G22.

I had a G17 years ago and was having light primer strikes and after swapping out the firing pin spring all was good.
Check your recoil spring by bringing the pistol about 1/8th inch out of battery. If the recoils spring does not bring the pistol back into battery from the 1/8th position swap it out for factory new or maybe a higher spring.

As for the firing pin channel , I've seen glocks which were so poorly maintained to just couldn't believe the crap that was in the one place which should be clean enough to eat off. I'm not saying your not looking after your pistol, but the channel needs to be extremely clean and dry.
When dissembled take your slide and pull the firing pin lug to the rear until you hear the click. Shake your slide forwards and backwards and you should hear your firing pin moving freely inside the channel. If you don't there could be crap in there. Now with the firing pin set behind the trigger safety tilt your slide nose down and depress the trigger safety button and your firing pin should drop through the breach face without issue which should be clearly visible.

Let me know if your still having issues.
