Same thing here, took it apart and half of it is gone, I checked into rounds not going off seems the firing pin doesn't extrude very far when the hammers engaged. Boy spending all this money on a rig that screwed the competition season for me is disappointing.

Not a good enough reason to neglect customers, I had a business years ago when customers were important and dealt with the same day now a days it seems to be a don't give a s88t world. And to your post 45CAT their move will probably be the worst thing they ever did cause now they'll have to compete with the US collapsing market and they'll loose the Canadian market.

Did you swap the trigger out for an aftermarket one?

My first gun had the same issue (light strikes). Turned out to be a problem between my Kidd trigger and their bolt design. The BX trigger did work well with my gun.

I was an early adopter and got treated very well by GB customer support. However I went through quite a few of their bolts. The last one provided was much better and would be fine for most people but I did end up going with a kid bolt just to make sure I'd have the most reliable rifle.

I still suspect that the move created a backlog with their customers support plus the influx prior to the move and the new US customer base.

Pretty bad when you have to spend another $350 on a gun that cost $1400 to make it reliable. There are alot of better rifles out there for that kind of money.

Is anyone else doing a threaded barrel?
That’s my number 1 reason for selecting a GB.
I am leaning towards a Kidd bolt tho.
X2 in my case although my RDR runs pretty good so far.
At least it did yesterday

My original plan was to buy a Tactical Solution X-Ring(same price as GB) but I decided to go Canadian made and it got me a 0 score this year. Threaded barrel to receiver is nice but V blocks are just as good. I haven't researched if there are other manufacturers with the threaded barrel to receiver as it wasn't important to me accuracy and reliability is what I'm looking for. I'll sell mine if you anyone who wants to spend $1400 for a gun you have to spend more money on. I'll even throw in a bushnell AR scope.

I really hate to say but yes you did. I was intrigued by it and I decided I need a semi auto but I should of stayed with a bolt gun.

Interesting that you would mention 1400$ here, but list it for 1600$.

Also fascinating that your ad does not mention the chipped extractor or the homebrew "trigger job". Not a word about the reliability either...

Your preference then on which deal, why mention the home trigger job as it works fine and I fixed the extractor problem myself as I have the knowledge. And there was no mention of rings bases or shipping in the 1400 comment.

Because the right thing to do is disclose it.
Because to do otherwise is shady and deceitful.
Because we are a community here, or ought to be.

Most sellers on here do disclose such things. Most include verbal descriptions and even photographs of flaws, even minor ones.
Some brag up modifications as if they were all voluntary and all "upgrades" but we all know it's not always the case.

But failing to disclose is simply dishonest.
 
Think what you want at 68 I'm very honest when it comes to someone who is buying, when it comes to just talk it's just that it's not a transaction. I'm sure your all guilty of some type of miss portrayal in talk.

From most of the offerings I've seen you'd be hard pressed to build a carbon fiber barrel in a modular chassis w/ folding stock near that price.
 
Not much improvement at the range today.
Both guns stoved at least once for every 10 rounds.
Still waiting on a response from CSC.

Anyone out there having a great time with their GB!?
what ammo are you using?
 
They moved to Florida. I went to their warranty shop, CSC a couple of weeks ago for the new version extractors. They didn’t have any in stock and had very few replacement parts. I skipped contacting GB and went straight to the shop.
