My Grizz, and Remington SPR 453

Faswagon, I'd bench the shotgun at the range to see where the pattern is. Using the shotshells your going to hunt or target shoot with.

Cheers
Jay

I'll get some big cardboard targets and go pattern this bad boy. Hopefully, I'll get out to the range tomorrow or the next day. I'll post some pics when I do

Holy crap, $25 for that sight? Damn! Does it seem like it is rugged enough to hold up to use on the Grizz?

So far so good, I don't expect I'll be handing it down to my kids, but it seems pretty solidly built so far. .. I actually took the laser off, just a little too tacticool for me, and it goes in the case a little better with out it. I may put it back on if we get a full zombie invasion though;)

I ordered the parts off Ebay for my Grizz, I was going to go with the full length rail so I could toss an AR stock on there but the price is just too much to ignore.

Thanks for the build dude! ;)

No problem, hope you have as much fun with it as I do! I've decided that slugs vs water filled cans and plastic bottles are my favorite so far. Something satisfying about reactive targets that fly 12 feet in the air

Got out to the range yesterday. The Baikal seems to shoot straight. I was using 2'x3' cardboard squares jammed in the snow (simu-turkeys) and shot patterns seemed right on. I put one target out to 50 yards and fired a few 3" slugs, they were grouping in the center, but about 6" high. I'll get some more slugs soon and work on my hold.

Anyone have any feedback about those fiber optic sights that clip/magnet onto the rib? I'd be interested in trying some for slug shooting
