My Growing up Litle WW2 Collection

here after 2 and a half years in the Milsurp World.

what my WW2 collection of the main country and the Long arms they use looks like
i search in firt time to find the most uncomon in canada like anything else in thys world its the $$ that stop me.

i find in first time the JApanese Rifle after that i find the 3 type of Carcano, the Mauser, Svt-40, and Mas 36( not ww2 model but ) in the next month i want to buy a Garand a nd a Springfield

4- Arisaka type 38 Tokyo 1934
5- Arisaka type 99 Nagoya 1940
6- Carcano M 91/41 terni 1943

8- Carcano M 91/38 Cavalry 1940


like you can see i prefer the Axis weapons but this year i want more of alies like Garand and Springfield and p17

nha! but like garand of springfield in the U.S the lee enfield is the main batle gun of my country the Canada so i think i will find much more easier than the other rifle up here my first goal is to find the most Rare and valuable guns in the first year in 10 of 20 years i dont want to pay 3000$ for my arisaka type 99 up here so i buy it ..... i know lee-enfield and nagant is on my list

Yes, the Japanese milsurps are particularily rare up here. Do yours have an un-ground Mum ( Chrysanthemum symbol)?

my type 99 only missing his Dust cover i buy a repro but he dont fit i dont know why

Wow, lucky on the type 99. I think the dust covers were almost always tossed by soldiers, as they rattled on the guns. Check out surplusrifle or milsurps for images of the dustcover, maybe the repro is the wrong one, or poorly made.

mauser k98 and arisaka type 99 ( the bore of those 2 guns is like news....... id like to gun hunting a moose with my Arisaka type 99 iron sight just to see the face of the guys back in the camp!!!

my 3 carcano are acurate with the corect load

the mas 36 have no recoil and is very acurate

and the svt-40 is veru acurate too

all of my guns have nothing to envy of the hunting weapons 1000$ my friend have

Your english is better than my French, and much better than my Japanese, which is non-existant. Is it difficult to find Arisaka and Carcano ammo? Privvi Partisan?

if you reload its not harder than the 30-06 or any other caliber.... i have a Rcbs rockchuker press with all the dies, powder i take all my stuff at X reload or Budget shooter supply the die for arisaka in 7.7 is 140$ so its not cheap to shoot it but i dont give a damn its too cool to shoot and very acurate


if you dont reload you can buy Prvi Box for like 29.99 and after you buy 2 or 3 you have good brass to start reloading with

i am a collector but i shoot all of my guns so no ita not hard to find ammo its $$$$$$$ that all if you have the time and the money no problem

or you can buy factory ammo.... Rrvi, hornady, Norma

That's because every dust cover was hand fitted to each rifle, you might have to do the same.
