I don't understand. Why would this be restricted if it came to Canada? Can't they just lengthen the barrel to 18.5"?

Kinda defeats the purpose of a small compact package when ya have s crazy long "donk" barrel sticking out the end.....

I would go with a NR barrel and buy an x95 just based on updated controls and features.

Your comment could be said equally about the current Tavors we have.

Sure that mag release is sweet, but what really annoys me about how we won't be getting any is that the design solves a major problem I had with the Tavor - the miniscule finger shelf. The grip is slick enough and the rifle heavy enough in that spot that my hand was constantly slipping behind the trigger. The X95 seems to solve that nicely.

The X95's pistol grip is close to 90 deg than the TAVOR, so the distance between the pistol grip and the magazine well can be shortened.

If not, the pistol grip will interfere with the magazine during ejection & insertion.

The LOP of the X95 is much shorter, for big guys it maybe an issue. Look at how the guy in the picture is pulling his shoulder in, hardly a good shooting stance.

So how does the girth of it feel?

As with all X95 threads, I was going to express my great lust for this firearm. Then I read this and felt even dirtier.
