I just received my Howa barreled action .308 24" heavy barrel from Prophet River, the barreled action is very well packaged in two boxes and completely covered with gun oil, I bought complete rifles from Howa, this is my first barreled action and as always excellent service from Prophet River. I have a Bell & Carlson stock and I will order a Atlasworx DBM. Here are some pics.















 
Was it any cheaper than buying the rifle ? I have an old S&W with a howa action and it disappointed myself and friends when it out shoots many more expensive custom rigs . Too bad howa has to put their name on so big

I've got a Howa .308 with HB. Came with a laminated thumb hole stock. Shoots like a hot damn! I put a tacticool stock on it but I'm thinking of replacing it with one of the new hi-tech stocks. Maybe then I'll get out and shoot it more.
