It isn't the biggest collection but for the most part, I have been pretty selective with the ones I have chosen. Some are .303, some are .22 and some are 7.62. I thought you all might enjoy having a look.

Awesome rifles! Very clean looking. Mind if I ask about bedding in the No4 rifles with the target sights? If there is any bedding, that is.

I'm very happy with the accuracy of my No4 T, but recently started a project to build the most accurate Enfield I can, and I want to keep the accurizing methods as old-school as possible.

The .22 on the left has none. The next three are DCRA 7.62 rifles and they have fiberglass bedding around the action and along the barrel in different spots on each. The 7.62 rifles also have the brass pin removed from the end of the stock under the action and have replaced it with a nut and bolt. The Mk2 on the end has a PH4 sight and bedding along the barrel. This one also used to have a cheek rest by the look of it but the holes have been filled beautifully. I should also mention that the No.4 third from the right weighs about a pound more than the others. That is the only rifle I haven't taken apart yet so I don't know where the extra weight is.

That is indeed a beautiful collection! Just picked a N4mk1 locally two weeks ago. Used to shoot them competitively in years gone by and have had a missing piece in my collection ever since. I appreciate your collection!

Nice guns. There was a time when there was a lot of en fields in that condition to chose from.
Now , they are all in collections. One doesn't even see them in that condition in the surplus market

Thanks for the fast reply! That's really interesting. I bet they shoot pretty good. I've read that shooters would fill the hole in the buttstock with lead shot to add some weight and help with recoil and steadiness, so that could be it.
