Magpul CTR
Magpul MBUS
Millett DMS-1 with Burris PEPR
12"UTG Quad rail (Wouldnt recommend for a JR )
Grip off my SR-22 (Going to replace it)

I know the rear flip up site looks goofy hanging off there, I'm not sure if Im gonna use the DMS-1 or the Lucid HD7 that I have. Put a cheap quad rail on there to hide the hideously long barrel. Had to make some modifications for it to fit, JR receiver is too wide for the mounting system it came with. If you're thinking about putting a new handguard on your JR, get one with that screws onto the barrel nut and has a locking ring much simpler to set up.

Can't wait to get out and shoot it!

looks great man, I still havent loaded any pics of mine yet. I like the mbus, Im going with a black/od green look with mine. what did you have to do to get the hand gard mounted?

Since the handguard is made for an AR-15 receiver which is a lot narrower than the JR body, the handguard is attached with screws through the barrel nut.

On the JR there isnt enough room to get the screws through the barrel nut holes because of the extra width of the receiver. So What I did was counter sink two of the holes, turned down the head of the screws using a file and drill (ghetto rig) so that they would fit in the counter sink. Screwed the barrel nut to the handguard then screwed it onto the JR receiver.

"Ghetto rig" I don't think so, more like a "Ghetto blaster" I approve of your handy work. :) Clyde Baker would give you a shot of rum and an 'atta boy'. :)

The JR Carbine looks so much better with the longer hand guard.

Congrats on the nice salvage job on that installation.
