w00t. it landed in bc today at 9 am and is now being shipped to my house tomorrow. will post pics of the build!

:D

its a beautiful day. it only cost me 499 $ for the kit (ouch) but i think it will be worth it. damn us canadians get absolutely freakin hosed on prices.

now this 10/22 aint so cute looking when i have it out in the bush amongst other guns.

Kalashnikov AK22 lol

You gonna weld the stock open and use the shorty barrel?

There are a couple builds on this forum using original (albeit modified) AK and SKS wood (ak for the pistol grip and lower handguard, sks for the upper handguard)... looks real good.

nah, im gonna keep the machinery all black. i might change to wooden hardware later on. and i prefer the longer barrel fake can version. i try and stay away from any legal issues with firearms, and do not wish to modify the shorty kit to make in 26"OAL legal

I grew tired of mine quick,it's too nice to ding up in the bush.
Now and then you just want a gun you can use, this kit turns it into a range queen that you don't wanna scratch.

Well made kit for sure

by bush i mean, drive out to my local forest shooting spots, unload my rifles, keep them on a foam pad. fire rounds off like im rambo. clean and put back into cases. i keep good care of all my guns. but i shoot them all the time, i will never own a range queen. i own to shoot. not to admire and stare at.

I've had my Krinker for a few weeks now & can't say I'm overly impressed. The forend on mine has a fair bit of play/looseness to it... far more than should be tolerated from a $450 kit. The rest of the rifle is solid and sound though, and it is indeed great fun to shoot.
If I could do it over again, I would probably have held out for a RB evolution stock.
