My Latest Acquisitions- Taurus PT 92/ Ruger Security Six

Hey guys! Within the last couple of weeks I picked up some new toys! These toys include a Ruger Security Six and a Taurus PT-92 and I figured i'd post some pics since thats always fun!

start off with the Taurus:

Both of the firearms were listed as very good and they do indeed seem to be in great condition! If anybody would like to leave some tips into shining that revolver up real good that would be great!

So one of the first things I noticed was how large the security six actually was. Even beside a full sized pistol like the PT-92 it felt massive! So I wont be able to shoot the ruger yet as Im still waiting for some paperwork to come in the mail but I definitely will post a range report when I can take it the range (although Im still a fairly new shooter so Im sure it wont mean anything )!

If you want to get that revolver shiny, order some cape cod polishing cloths from ebay. They are cheap and you will have a mirror finish.

Nice PT92, I have one as well.

Are you sure the PT92 doesn't have a decocker? It has the room for the down position of the lever. Or are those just newer grips?

Well the safety does go down a little bit but it doesnt actually do anything while the hammer is cocked so I just assumed it was a pre-decocker model loll

I doubt that it is a pre-decocker model. I got a pt-92 from IM and it was made in 1992, and it has the decocker, yours appears to be a more recent design.

Nice Security-Six! Better than S&W K-frame for magnum duty, IMHO.

My GP100 can go, but the SS is a keeper.

A 6-inch stainless Security Six was my first centerfire handgun, back in the day.... Stolen when my apartment in Scarborough was burgled.[sigh] Yer lucky I didn't see this one first...

It's a fine shooter....enjoy!
