Great rifles. I have her twin, also in .308

Awfully nice wood on most all the ones I've seen. Great little rifles. If they were still brought in I'd grab one in .243 as well.

Anyhow, as a result when I ride my ATV I am legally entitled to discharge a firearm for hunting purposes or in wildlife self defence. I carry what is known as a "Discharge Permit", issued by Alberta Parks and the Environment. I can (and do) also hunt from my truck. With enough success to keep me coming back year after year.....

Good on ya, Mark. Not a black gun fan, but I admire the way you're "just getting on with it". I'm eligible for the same type of permit here in the east - but I'd more likely be carrying something that looked like the Brno. Whatever guards yer pic-a-nic basket!

Maybe not in the truest sense, like a folding skeleton rifle, but I think he's referring to the fact that a break action can be taken down into a package no longer than the barrel, so it will fit easily into the pack.
