Whenn Epps rebarreled these things did they use a standard, readily available barrel? IE: could I purchase the parts separately and then get my tech to put them together for me? Info appreciated.

Epps just makes a barrel - that's it.
So yes, if you "could" buy a pre-made barrel it would be possible to install it yourself.

If you find someone who can make & sell barrels only for the Storm please let me know.

I handled a Storm at wholesale yesterday and again today.

I REALLY like it. It is actually quite small, way smaller in person than it looks in photos, and it is a very comfortable fit for me. I held it and my wallet started to weep.


I'll be getting one as soon as I have the funds.

When I bought my CX4 off a fellow CGN member, it was one of the first non-restricted Storms in Canada. I believe Epps used a Montana Rifleman chrome lined barrel cut to 19". With the AR style FH installed, I think it beat the pants off the stock stubby barrel in the looks department Sadly, as life's interests changed, the little Storm went to another CGN'r But that's OK as another Gunnut is now enjoying 'er Besides, the CX4 space in the safe has now given birth to a brand new Stag 15 2R Thanks Walter
