Whats the best way to clean this gun? Bore snake, or the regular cleaning kit with the swabs and bore brush? Ready to clean this thing and wondering which way works best?

I will never let a bore snake be used in any of my rifles. I only use one piece coated rods, with a proper bore guide.

Why are bore snakes bad?

They have their applications (out in a hunt camp say), but common thought is that they're only clean the first time, every time afterwards you're just running a dirty bore snake through your barrel. Here's a link to Wipe out: http://www.paulcompany.com/wipeout.htm

Good for removing copper and such... Keep in mind that some don't clean their bores until accuracy falls off (some like it dirty!).
