My M-14 m-305 Operation Desert...

My M-305 had a rather poor wood, so i got all the cosmoline from in it by heating it over the wood stove (good trick ) sand it down and shellac it 2 time after did sand it to a smooth finish, took Krilon camo paint in Tan color and gave 3 coating sanding lightly between them an here it is my M-14 Edition Desert Storm and it shoot as good as it look... Nice to see another shooter I have a high round count as well and not a problem. She truly is a tank

I got my second M14 (shorty) last week and I do notice some "surplus" pumpkins hanging about just today.

i love that color. i have 3 done up like that. i had a M96 that had the tan stocks on it from factory, they called the color " freedom tan" sorta stole that and i call it fredom tan now to
