I ordered The M14 Owners Guide by Duff and Miller, The M14 Complete Assembly Guide by Kuleck and McKee.Both books are packed with info and pictures.To me they are well worth their price of 48.00 shipped.Got them off epay from SWK Trading if interested.

+1 on both books. Got my copies a couple of weeks ago, and I've really been enjoying them.
 
For any M14 owners with both (or either) of these books, which would you recommend first for a first time M14 owner to read?

I could just order both, but I need to curb my spending a little this quarter!:D

I'm close to purchasing my first Norc, and ultimately hope to use it for service rifle shooting and deer hunting.

The M14 owners guide is a good book to start with;)
 
But to carry on you should get Jerry Kuhnhausen's book The U.S. 30 Caliber gas operated Service Rifles Vol1 and 2 (bound together)This book covers the M1 Garand and the M14/M1A.Awesome book.

This book is an Invaluable Resource of info. I have it and have read through it at least 4 times and pick up something different everytime.

+1 bigtime. This book is way more important than either of the first two mentionned at the beginning of this thread.
 
I found the first two valuable as starter books.Good photos and explanations in the Kuleck and Mckee book.Good way to get your head wrapped around everything.Not overloaded on detail.

Any chance you could double check that sellers name, can't find him.
Can't get the Owners Guide to ship to my address (Ontario) via amazon, must all be american sellers who won't ship to Canada....arg.
 
I posted the tread two years ago.Some one else drug it back up. Ya mean you don't remember me posting it the first time.
