Hi Guys,

I have posted some new pics of my rifle with it's Vortex flash hider installed...down at posting number 30 - Jeff.

Well, I just got my rifle back from the local gunsmith who shortened & threaded the barrel for me...and today my new Marstar Gas lock front sight arrived, so I put that on. I am just waiting now to hear from Jeff Smith about a flash hider...:) This rifle is all stock otherwise, except for a GI Walnut stock and M1 Garand rear sight. See what you think...

Jeff, I see we have similar projects on the go. I'll post pics of mine when it it is done..Mine will have a US Coast Guard style break unlike yours..

Chad Chewy - I forget what they said, but it's the "standard" SAE thread for "standard" flash hiders...:redface:

Jeff...thanks for posting this and waking me from my slumber on my project. I am glad to hear that Lock and Load will do this. I will take mine in instead of shipping it off. Thanks for the heads up!
