good day everyone:
i picked up a remington m660 in .243 win made in 1967.
it was a goofy looking thing with it's long stock and short barrel.
but man could this thing shoot, with handloads it'll shoot 87 grainers into 1/2" @ 100yds.
but someone had messed with the recall replaced trigger and i was'nt very confident in it.
and the plastic trigger guard.wtf
so i made it mine!
heres a few pics of the before and after.
what do you think?
so,i found a very nice claro walnut gary goudy designed stock(it's just beutiful)and replaced the crappy factory trigger with a timney unit(2.75lbs) and i ordered a alloy trigger guard from cvmw in the usa. i also upgrade the scope to a bushnell elite 3200 4-12 x50 mm.
so what do you think?
ps i kept the original parts just in case someday i want to change it back.
