Hi guys,

Thought i'd show some of my changes ive done to my Marauder. I got one of the new handguards today. A bit of modding and i got it to fit. I ordered a Dlask 12.5" .920 barrel, thats next, along with an M4 stock adapter, and a different stock ;-) I will have to pin the hinge, so it does't fold, but i don't care, as i wont miss that at all. (not a big fan of the folding stock!). He'es also a pic of the quick release suppressor. (Non-Functional.) I never use it at the end, but it looks cool on the wall. My buddy made the 1/2x28 to 14mm ccw thread adapter you see on the barrel.

this is just a test fit of the new front end, and it'll change more when the stock, barrel, and other fore-end arrive. Then i'll be done this never ending saga.

I'll prolly sell one of these aluminum front ends, when i decide which one to keep. ;-)
 
Here's a few updated pics! I found an old magazine clamp in my airsoft "bin" and lo and behold, they hold together two aa 9/22 mags perfectly! I kinda like the "9mm" look in the Marauder! Next week, im expecting my Dlask .920 12.5" barrel, and the new M4 stock adapter, and adjustable stock, skeletonized charging handle. I got a bunch of tuffer buffers, but have been holding off on installing it, till i have to tear it all down.... I'll update pics when its installed! till then, enjoy.

Well, i "re-stocked" my marauder....:) I just got it in the mail, and had some time between loads, so i quickly threw it on to see what it would look like. With the stock adapter, it doesnt fold anymore, which keeps me legal! (whew). And as far as it folding, i dont care for it.

The stock was incredibly cheap. But, it feels cheap (14.00) and the adapter was (16.00).... Its surprisingly rigid, and the adjustments work fine, it just feels "plasticy". I like the look so much, I may just invest in one of the 80.00-100.00 units in the future.

I like the new look. What do you guys think?

i should be getting my 12.5 .920 Dlask barrel very soon. Then i'll prolly put the longer aluminum forearm on, Im thinking this build will be complete then.... (for now!)
 
Got my Dlask .920 12.5" barrel today, and the new Charging handle. Pulled it all apart and installed everything. Oh, i also replaced the stock recoil buffer right away with a tuffer buffer. I'd have to say, the Marauder build is done. Now, if it wasn't blowing 100 mile an hour wind outside, i'd check the new barrel out, maybe it'll die down this evening. Pics to follow.

well i took it out anyways, and it shoots real, real fine. I can barely wait for a dead calm evening, get this thing on a bench and dial it right in. Im betting it'll do ragged one holes at 35 yards. heck, maybe even 50..... ;-) Here she is, I may try the longer handguard out, but its going to need some mods to get it to fit. I kind of like the shorter one, I dunno, looks more balanced having some barrel coming out of the end. what do you guys think?

that looks like alot of cashish right there! where did you get the mag clamp? Only place i've seen them was hical and they were pretty pricy for a little piece of plastic

No, unfortunately not. although i wouldn't want see through mounts, as the scope is high enough over the bore already IMO..... :) Ive been thinking about taking the sights/handle off, and finding a rail that would fit decent, and still look the part, so i could mount a scope closer to the bore line.... hey, i just got an idea. be back in a bit. (off to the work bench)
