My 'Miami Vice' handgun collection is complete!

congrats for the findings.

you need now the california custom coach conversion that will make your vette the ferrari daytona 412s or 365 that nobody wants lol ...

Very envious of that Bren Ten you have there. That one is my Grail gun as well.
But you also need the Browning BDA .45 /Sig 220 from "Brothers Keeper" And a jackass leather aka Galco miami classic shoulder rig for that Bren.

No Miami Vice collection is ever complete until it has a Scarab 38 KV....

Same could be said for the Ferrari Daytona Spider

It's a shame Ferrari had to flex their muscles with a cease & desist order on a kit/replica car that was exclusively for a tv series..

The Daytona was a nice one for sure. I heard Ferrari gave them the Testarossa to use though, which wasn't too bad either and is another iconic Miami Vice symbol.

Miami Vice was the hottest, most cutting edge series from back in the days when T.V. was a lot more culturally relevant than it is now.

And it still manages to hold up fairly well considering the strict T.V. censorship and limited special effects of the time.

I mean, here we are still talking about it 37 years after it debuted.

Ferrari took a fair bit of heat publicly for the cease and desist order, the Testarossa was to apease that outcry due to it being a "kit car" based of a C3 Vette. There are several off-the-record references by Ferrari stating were they to do it all over again.. well.. shoulda, woulda, coulda

And I guess from Ferrari’s perspective, if they are going to get some marketing from a TV show, the show might as well be promoting a production model they can sell.
