After reading one of the other posts on Mini's with bad accuracy, I just had to put mine on here. I admit it mine sucked to until I did a few mods to it.
To start I put a barrel stabilizer that I made on it.
Got that idea from clarkcustoms website, also I drilled and tapped my gas block and installed a 4mm allen screw in, so now it is adjustable.
Also when tightening the gas block screws torque them to 16ft-lbs and use a feeler gauge and keep the gaps between the two gas block halves even. This will cause the barrel to walk straight up when it gets hot instead of to the right or left. The stabilizer acts as a heat sink and is 1-1/4OD alumimnum.
It also acts as a harmonic damper, I get about 10 shots before it gets hot and walks up, but at least its up.
The stock is bedded with Brownels acra glas right at the reciever to stock and also the trigger housing to stock.
For reloads I found mine likes Win cases and Win primers 24gr varget OAL of
2.250" but my Mini has a 1 in 7 twist barrel(were only 180,000 of these)
Before I started playing with this I was getting 3-4" groups at 100yds and now I get 2-1/2-4" goups at 200yds. It was a bit of work to make this gun shoot better, but it was fun doing it and now its great on coyotes.
