The mailman brought me my Xmas present today!! My modem varmint.

Aimpoint micro
Bcm grip
Bcm Keymod forward grip
AAC flash hider.
Inforce wml

First impressions. Build quality seems excellent. Fit and finish is very nice. Inside and out. Forgot interior pics. Will take some after kids go to bed. Action cycles manually very smoothly. Rainy and wet here today plus I've been hanging with my son all day. So no shooting info yet. But I will update this thread once I shoot it. The side charging handle seems fine and with a little practice will feel very natural.

Mags I've tested for drop free
Magpul gen2 no
Magpul gen 3 yes
Hex mag yes
Atrs pistol mag(new) no
MFT pistol mag(new) yes
AA beo mag metal yes
Surefire 5/60 yes
Pcv beo mag new=no used=yes
Guessing all metal mags will drop free and likely the two that didn't will with a little use as both mags and rifle are new.

I have a lantac dragon coming Monday I'll likely change out the AAC. I'm a fan of the dragon even though it's long.
Trigger is excellent. Light with no take up.
Ambi mag/bolt release and ambi safety.
I don't have a scale but this set up is very light.
I had my elcan on it but didn't really like it. Not that it made it heavy. Might save it for my x95. I have an g33 magnifier I can use with my aimpoint micro if I need magnification.
So far I really like it. Can't wait to take it out.

Lots of room to try her out as soon as I get time. It's the middle of my fishing season and nice days I'm fishing. Only home the crappy days. I will be posting groups as well as any issues.

Very nice, looking forward to your update with some pics of targets using quality ammo shot off a good rest.
Hopefully this thread doesn't go off the tracks the way most MV and MH threads do.
 
Looks amazing! Definitely making me want one. I do like the SPR look you pictured there.

I would love to see some accuracy pictures of it with good ammo and cheap, plinking ammo.
