My Mosin is here!

It arrived today at the same time as scope from the Ukraine! It's time to clean it, shoot it and find a good gunsmith to install this scope on it. Any recommendation who is experienced with Mosin in Toronto area?

Yep, should be in milsurp but inhaling all the cosmeline fumes can do that to a person

Its a great gun to shoot, packs a nice punch. In terms of a scope, there's a gunsmith at Target sports, Dave H. Give them a call, im sure he can accomodate your request.

I saw this a couple of days ago and bit my tongue, but no more. I wouldn't be ruining a pre-war stock by cutting it to fit the scope mount.

That's great to hear. Very nice as it is.

Besides, if someone was set on converting a mosin to sniper form, I'd suggest buying an ex-sniper that's already been refurbed, and reconverting it back to its original form.

If you scoped it you would also need to get a bent bolt.That is the smoothest finish on a round reciever that I have seen. How is the bore? She is a nice one,is it from westrifle or tradeex? My son just got his course done and was promised a mosin!
