My flat top and my carry handle one. Best thing to do on the carry handle one is cut the rail on the front down. It's super easy. Just cut the middle section out and use rail covers to hide the cut once it's installed again

I took my 715 T flat top out for the first time today. I overall I was happy with my purchase for the price. Before taking it to the range I stripped it down cleaned it up and oiled it. I found that I had to have the elevation cranked all the way to get it centered. The windage was ok. I tried various types of ammunition. It loved the CCI mini mags and the winchester wildcats. It was ok with the federal bulk, but it did not like the winchester 222 bulk hollowpoints. There was 1 failure to load at the 10th round and a few failure to eject causing a jam. After messing round with the iron sights I put my bushnell first strike red dot on. Once I got it sighted in It felt like I was cheating. I did have issues with the 25 round magazine. I could load 11 rounds easily but any more it was damn near impossible and took a long time messing around with it. I will have to look online to see if there is a fix for it.
So for the price its a fun gun to play with but for the more picky shooters out there it might not be your thing

heres my mossberg 715T , i removed the factory sights , added a new rail and scope, added a bi pod pistol grip to the front , disassembled the gun, taped off certain parts and painted it with stone texture paint from canadian tire

I was having the same issue with my mag, upon inspecting it more i could see that around the 11 th round, the end of the case was jamming in the hole on the side of the mag,...i pushed it back with my finger, using the mag loader i can now load up 25 rounds no problem

cant help but notice, not that a recoil pad is necessary but i did notice none of them come with it, as far as a requirement obviously there is no need for a recoil pad, however it looks a little unfinished when you look at the back of the stock, i thought maybe my daughters was missing a part new, but i guess not, i have a ati stock for my sks as well which is identical on the rear of the stock and there is a recoil pad, which in this case would be more necessary, just wondering if anyone has seen that recoil pad as it gives a little more finished look, instead of 2 empty screw holes and the big hole at the back on the rear, just curious

i know, lol, i would have never noticed myself until i looked at my sks stock and low and behold there is a recoil pad that is not present on the mossy stock, not that it matters as far as recoil is concerned, i just thought i got shorted it out of the box, but obviously i guess they dont come with it, looked all over online and cant find one from any of the ati distributers. oh well.....
