:D

This makes my day go better. I'm recovering from oral surgery today, and laid up on T3s at home.

Now I've got to read up on the takedown and cleaning posts. It came with the warranty reg card and the poker chip, and that's it, so I will need to school myself a bit.

My first impression, I like! :D I have a few flaws on the top rail on the receiver, but they will be covered by my mount, so I'm not too worried about it.

The trigger weight is pretty heavy. Are they easily adjusted?

I'll clean up the melted packing peanuts, mount my optic and post up some pics later.

Range test will likely wait for after hunting season.

Damn Ryan and his peanut fetish. Easiest way to clean is with acetone or your girlfriends nailpolish remover. We lube all of our parts and rifles with Gunzilla.. and although it's plant based, it loves them peanuts.

The trigger will break in with use, but yes it is quite heavy to start.. it's a military trigger not a sporting one. The spring has some heft to it.

Sorry about the crappy Blackberry pics. ;) Isn't that how this whole thing started, anyway?:stirthepot2:

I love the Vortex, nut not too sure about the vertical foregrip/bipod. It's a bit thick. I'll have to run with it and see how it goes.

Can't wait to try it out!!

Those peanuts were a ##### to clean off! LOL

I'll get him for that one day!

Wow, nice set up! I can't say I'm a fan of the vertical grip/bipod, but nice rig nonetheless.

Yeah, I can't see it staying on there. I ordered it online. It's bigger than I thought it would be. Not the best grip, and not the best bipod.

Oh you guys are not making my wait any easier! C'mon SFRC, I need my carbine! :)

Seriously, thanks guys for posting your pics and vids. I will just have to wait till mine arrives and then make you drool with my NEA dressed in OD Magpul, gripod, and eotech ;)

yeah that nice long free float gives it the cool look that a 10.5" has and keeps muzzle velocity a lil more where i like it.
