Sweet, I've wanted one of those for a long time.
It's a hex barrel i got it for $650.00 u.s.on gun broker i was the only bidder came to $880.00 with the exchange rate and &40.00 shipping.
I don't think it has any collector value because of the nickel and gold plating
(screws are gold plated)but it will be a fun shooter.

Rgbai , If your a hankering, I will cast a few and send em to ya. I myself have a 1860 and 51 both are fantastic....I prefer the 51 mind you.

Just finished casting a few, I use a cheap brass one that is a replica of the origionals.
Casts conicles and roundball, works great.
They are sold out of the Military versions but I guess a Civie would work just as well.

Lord....As far as size, I dont know, the conicles have a rebate that perfectly fits the cylinder and need a bit of force to ram home leaving a lovly ring of lead as its supposed to.
The roundballs are just slightly so oversize and leave a nice ring when rammed home with the loading lever.
Its not from marstar though.....I think I picked it up from some joe schmo gun shop when I was visiting family down south, "its been awhile"

Get a lee round ball mold that drops a .375 ball, use pure lead, not wheelweights.
Casting good bullets from a brass mold can be tricky. I've done it and the lee mold is a whole lot easier.
