My new .260 Range Results

Well after some mediocre results with H4350 I switched to H4831SC and found what I was looking for.

This is shooting 48.2-48.5 grains of H48831SC with 123 Grain Lapua Scenars. Brass if Win .243 neck turned just enough to skim. The first target is 200 Yard, the rest at 100. If I pushed it up any further groups opened up past 3/4" If I can keep em under 1/2 I'm happy with that.

Next up...Lapua Brass and a chasis stock.

Nice! I'm just about to start playing with mine again and try to find the right load. I'll be looking at trying some of your loads.

The tightest one was 48.4 grains H4831SC 123 gr Lapua 10 thous jam. I think I will leave it there. Only had 10 rounds in that load. Gonna load a few more once I have better brass. H4350 would just not work for me.

Nice build..it looks really good. I'm a newbie to the 260 Remington, but have been playing with the 6.5 Grendels for quite a while. I liked them so much, I had to try a 260.

So i just finished a 260 build and needed somewhere to get info on loads to try. If you are looking for some loads to try, I found quite a few listed on snipershide. They have threads where members post info about different calibers and what works for them. So far, I have gotten useful info off the 308/7.62x51, and the 260 Remington threads.

All I can say is "Excellent shooting, Sir". You've got me chomping at the bit for a 260 Rem.
Did you get the chance to chrono any of those loads? I imagine the MV is in the 2800 - 2900 fps range.

No chrono yet, will bring next time out. I was loading H4350 on a krieger savage and got 3000 no problems. I expect I am around 2800 with the load I am using now. Can't wait for the weather to warm up, to move out to some longer ranges.
