Just got my rifle back from Joe K.
A touched up Rem 700 action, with a 6 mm 1-8 twist shilen barrel . Sitting in a Robertson stock topped with a 8-32 Sightron . :)

Very nice!

I'm waiting for my 8-32 sightron, what do you think of it?

Also what rings are you running with on the rifle?

Rifle looks great, bet it shoots even better!

The rings are TPS sitting on a Warne 20moa base .
The only thing Joe asked for, is me to try and beat a certain guy with a tubegun . :)
The scope seems to be very clear . I`ll be taking it for a test drive tomorrow hopefully if it ever stops raining .

Hope you broke her in today. Precision Match/practice at Mons on Sunday 8am sharp(a few hours from now)
Joe let me "lap" your barrel for you and I hope I didn't run the hammer drill with the cleaning rod too fast.
Looks good Kevin...even better than the pink one you were planning.
You will have to provide a range report with pics and load notes to go with the picture.
By the way, i think Joe was referring to Bruce and Terry with the tubes.

She shot to my satisfaction while breaking in the barrel . I did the one shot clean for 5 shots then got shot a 5 shot group .
This was with a reduced load of 27 grains of Varget because I was not going to push it for the first shots .

Very nice. I want to contact Joe someday to have some work done on my rifle. Dumb, I've been like 20 feet from him at the range before and never said anything.
