My project is done and here is the complete rifle :)

I am looking to add Geiselle trigger (not sure which one) and Noveske receiver end plate and QD are still on their way from Brownells to be added on the rifle. I was thinking of adding DBAL, but this rifle is pretty heavy already so I probably won't.

Why did you go with the expense of the Sig only to strip it down to basically a bare lower? now you are experiencing all the issues of the fact the sigs are not full spec. lowers.

As for registering the change as long as you have an upper that has a barrel the same length as originally registered I wouldnt worry about it, but if you don't i'd register one of the ones you do have.

I didn't go with a bare SIG lower. It is a complete lower.
I'm a noob here. What is full spec lower anyway?

It looks like it.

I really like mine (enhanced HK416 model)

Feature wise, it functions great, there are two QD sling mount that you don't have on other tube, but finally, if not the best feature on it, is not having to use a castle nut.

Cost wise, its a bit pricier, but I picked up the when Questar had their holiday sale last year - 15% off made the cost well worth it.
