My new basement dry fire range!

I use http://shootoffapp.com it's free, I run it off a old Surface Pro2 I have kicking around, I can use the built in front facing cam for it as well in a pinch.. I use a c920 ($90) + tripod at home with a cheapo ($100 projector) and drop down screen ($130). It can do stuff like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5OjeTJInC9A
I just need to find a airsoft gas blowback gun thats compatible with laser so I can do some better practice.

I mainly use a P226 DAK for the more than one shot drills..

I'll be trying that software out tonight! I have an old projector I can make use of.

As far as the airsoft stuff, check out these guys: http://store.laser-ammo.com/airsoft.html

I was pretty close to buying a G19 airsoft GBB and pairing it with their spider attachment, but then it's not going to fit a holster. My goal is to do the dry fire with my own gun, sights, etc. It's not quite as exciting not having the recoil, but I can't think of a better way to be forced to reset my aim than by racking my slide haha.

I've bee using the Laser Ammo kit along with the iTarget app on my phone. Switch up between the 9mm and .45 adapter. Works very well, surprisingly accurate. Ive learned that using the adapter rings (for caliber changes), just make sure you centre it in the barrel. It is easily adjustable.

You can just use your phone for a camera. Or go all out and use a webcam device along with a computer and projector... either way. This type of product is great for when you're wanting to get to the range but can't. :)

If you don't mind me asking - which projector are you using?

What was wrong with it? It works pretty well for me.. I did need to tweak some webcam settings to pick up the laser but other than that it's decent.. picking up paper targets is very good

I couldn't get anything to calibrate. I'm running a budget webcam and projector though, so that could have something to do with it.

yeah that's the tricky part, there's some threads on the reddit /shootoff on how to calibrate... i thought it was a bust at first until i changed some webcam settings. There's a diagnostic mode you can go into on the app which helps with changing the settings..
