Dosing,
As you well know, I am no sniper nor designated marksman. I therefore have no requirement for a precision rifle. I just need a service rifle that will hit "centre of mass" with 2 MOA intrinsic accuracy - all the while reliably functioning in extremely adverse conditions. Truth be told, the latter is far, FAR more important than the former. Accuracy is not the "end all and be all". If my rifle works all of the time, every time, then I can very happily live with 2 (or even 3) MOA. Trust me - if it fires a round every time I pull the trigger with 3 MOA accuracy? I will have no problem perforating the bad guy near to his/her centre of mass. That's plenty good enough for government work.
